Let's Get Physical!

Wed Jul 9, 2008, 6:46 PM
SO. I've been at camp for my first week and some of my guy friends decided that I am too flat in places. I've been eating about 3x as much as I would ever eat and I've realized that I can actually eat more than a well-built man nearly twice my size. Of course I've eaten so much in the past three days that I have gone from being 88lbs

. . .

to 96lbs (I know, that still isn't very heavy). But my bust isn't any bigger and my stomach is starting to stick out. I think Tresvan's workout may actually come in handy in the next few days XP

well, at least I haven't been sodomized by a five year old, which can't be said for a number of other staffers.

But that's another story for another day.

  • Mood: Euphoric
  • Listening to: Harder Better Faster Stronger
  • Reading: Alice-- What am I always reading?
  • Watching: Slayers Revolution
  • Playing: damn, I lose.
  • Eating: way more than I should be

FINALLY!! IT'S ALL OVER!!!

Fri Jun 13, 2008, 7:06 PM
MY LIFE AS A PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENT IS FINALLY OVER AND I SERIOUSLY COULD NOT BE ANY FRICKIN HAPPIER THAN I AM RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! XD XD XD XD XD!!!!!!!!!!!!1

NO MORE NO MORE NO MORE!! I'M SO HAPPY! I GRADUATE TUESDAY AND IF GOD ALLOW IT I HOPE TO NEVER SET FOOT IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDING AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

I was so excited today, I ran into my house than ran up and down the stairs, jumped on my bed for a good five minutes, ran through Eisenhower Park skipping and jumping and laughing and played on the swings with Showalter for about a half hour then skipped back home singing and dancing and now as I type, my last bits of built up high school angst seem to be exiting from every pore on my skin.

AND THANK GOD I'LL (almost) NEVER HAVE TO GO BACK!!!

  • Mood: Euphoric
  • Listening to: le Disko- Shiny Toy Guns
  • Reading: Alice-- What am I always reading?
  • Watching: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
  • Playing: damn, I lose.
  • Eating: Doritos (named Salvadore)
  • Drinking: The Dew

Why you should get a copy of My Sr. Project:

Fri May 16, 2008, 11:17 PM
really I should be working on the damned thing now, but anyway:

okay, so I'm selling (except I'm not allowed to make a profit, so let's say "giving away, and being reimbursed) copies of my Senior project Comic. And you should totally get one because:

1. IT'S GOT SHOUNEN AI!!!!! (kind of, not really)
2. all the cool kids are doing it
3. I will like you a lot more.
4. Maybe one day I'll be famous and you can wave it in your friends faces and say "Ha! I know a famous person, bi'otch!"
5. According to my classmates, it is pretty hilarious. (I can't tell because I wrote it)
6. You're supporting a local starving artist.
7. you'll feel really guilty if you don't.
8. If you get two versions, you can improve your Japanese!
9. (I was bothered that there were only nine reasons. Ignore this one.)
10. and it'll be less than $5. (Seriously, what were you gonna do with it?)

but don't feel like you have to. A satisfying amount of people at school are getting copies that I don't care if anyone else does. I was just seeing if anyone else felt they would die if they didn't have one.

But I digress. Here's the business side of it: If you want one, comment on this journal or send me a note. There are three versions: Japanese, English, and Americanized*. Tell me which one(s) you want. I can't confirm the price now, but it will be under $5 per copy. I also can't say for certain when you'd get them, but it would definitely be before the end of June.

and I know I'm a horrible, horrible sexist... but out of personal embarassment, I reeeeeeeaaaally don't want any guys to read it. So unless you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want one... I'd prefer that you didn't read it.

*The Americanized version is basically infanticide on my part. The characters names are changed, The japanese letters are masked, the pages are flipped, thus the art is sometimes skewed. However, the dialogue is much more interesting than in the other versions.

In other news. I'm really surprised I haven't crashed and burned. In the past 4 days I've had 14 hours of sleep... and only one energy drink. And so far I've only felt like I was going to collapse once, and that was during PE. I'd worry that someone's been drugging my food, but haven't been eating much either.

  • Mood: Agony
  • Listening to: Darkwave Surfer- Aural vampire
  • Playing: damn, I lose.
  • Eating: strawberry cake.
  • Drinking: Full Throttle

Couldn't help myself...

Sat Apr 12, 2008, 10:40 AM
Okay, I don't have time to be doing things like this but I can't help it.

2 double cheeseburgers.

um... I had some alcohol at new years, does that count?

-Do you own a canoe?
no

-What was the last button you pushed?
"snooze"

-Do you have or want any Piercings?
no, but I think I should get my ears pierced. It would make cosplay much more tolerable.

-What do you think about people with tattoo's?
I guess it depends on the tattoo, but I don't really have an opinion. I'd get one if I weren't such a pansy.

-Are you in love?
......I ...don't think so.

-What are your plans for college?
hook myself up to an instant smart machine, and three months later I will emerge from my hovel knowing absolutely everything so that any college I want will give me an instant bachelors degree as soon as apply there.

-Have you ever had an unusual pet?
I had a room filled with 70 balloons. I named them all so I guess they were pets.

-What color is the wall closest to you?
blue.

-Did you enjoy your last kiss?
Do you mean the one that never happened? Oh yeah, it was amazing.

-Have you ever set foot in a tanning salon?
um... I don't really need to.

purple

how about fast chinese takeout? (Panda express rocks)

hot, with tea cookies and finger sandwiches and a copy of Pride & Prejudice, preferably in a lolita dress.

-What is your favorite musical?
so many... probably Chicago or Little Shop of Horrors.

-Have you ever lied about your age?
Don't need to. Everyone assumes the wrong age.

-When did you stop believing in Santa Claus?
My parents never really fed me that stuff, but I tried to convince my friends since I found all of my presents in my parents' closet.

-Who was your first crush?
A friend in my class in fifth grade. His sister let me borrow lots of anime.

I've never blacked out.

I think, two years ago? I prefer to walk.

Hell if I know.

-How many numbers are in your phone book?
36, but half of them are for businesses (bank, c-tran, dairy queen)

-Do blondes really have more fun?
since I bleached my hair I haven't been having more fun... but I've been thinking about having fun more than I did with dark hair.

Ever fallen out of love?
....yeah. I think I did.

Have you ever smoked tobacco out of a hookah?
Is a Sobe bottle a hooka? just kidding.

yes. Except my ovaries. I'm selling those for big bucks.

-What is by far your favorite moment of life?
well, not by far, but probably I went camping with Rebecca and Rachel a couple years ago and there were a lot of good moments.
That or this years Sakura-con, when we all went to Bainbridge. That was amazing.

I saw a really gorgeous asian in Seattle. I don't really hang out with the pretty crowd... or any crowd for that matter.

Sakura-Con happenings and related tales

Sun Mar 30, 2008, 9:57 PM
so I got back from Sakura-con and here are some of the convention highlights:

we rode the train up to seattle, it was faster and smoother than the bus ride back but nowhere near as interesting.

we picked up our badges then rode the ferry out to Bainbridge to stay at the home of a family friend of one of our party members. She had an amazing house out on a lake with a balcony and the most comfortable beds in the world. We arrived in Seattle and it started SNOWING. (mind you, my cosplay is a swimsuit. I was freezing... I also looked like an idiot getting off a Seattle ferry wearing sandals and flower leis.

We went to Opening Ceremony, followed by the Amv room, followed by the Ali project panel. I have to say, those drag queen back-up dancers were HILARIOUS. Then we went straight to line up for the autograph session and we were first in line XD I screamed when one of the crossdressers mentioned his favorite series was Nadia so when I showed up for an autograph they were all saying "Nadia!" and they signed a poster for me.

I won Second place in the "name that anime tune" compettition and got a para^2 max CD.

we watched some comedy videos and then watched "This is Otakudom" which I haven't actually seen in years (can still recite most of it though)

Went to 'waji's in the morning, it was my first time at the Seattle Uwajimaya. Spent a lot of time in the Karaoke room then went to line up for the Ali project concert (2 hours early) Rebecca and I made some friends, a bunch of hard-core Ali-pro fans and we all played anime-themed party games together.

We were fourth in line for the concert but then they told us the first three rows were for industry people and staff only DX. I was so angry. Then Kethup Mania started playing but I wasn't too into them. I just wanted to see Aliproject! They said they would play one more song and I was like "YES!" then they came back for an encore and I was like "NO!!!! GO AWAY!!!" But then Ali project came on AND THE ENTIRE FIRST THREE ROWS SAT DOWN. I had a perfect view of the stage. Which was cool because I got to see the crossdressers dancing which they didn't show on the big screens ^^

went to the cosplay show but left in the middle. It sucked. It took forever to actually start the show, the audio was so bad that you couldn't understand any of the dialogue (only music), almost all of the skits were about death Note, and relied way too heavily on music as a ';plot.' The only one I enjoyed was the silent hill nurses performing the Lucky Star dance (seriously, those guys understand me.)

the next day we were going to go to the fish market but changed our minds and went to sing Karaoke. Made some karaoke friends and we all slaughtered 'simple & clean' so badly that hopefully no one will ever sing it again and it gets deleted from the Sakura-con music library.

bought some hilarious buttons.

rode the bus back home and bothered the Hell put of Tanner XD

Overall okay, but kind of a n00b fest.
