So yesterday I lamented my last friend going off to college and leaving me all by my lonesome at... dare I say it... Clark college (ugh. seriously, apply for scholarships, kids). So for the past few days I've done nothing but fill out job applications and research scholarships. I feel really drained and I just want to go back to school so I'll have something to do!!

But on a much happier note: My brother tells me today that our playstation 2 is busted. Damn. Then my Dad comes home with a PLAYSTATION 3. How awesome is that?!?! And with Silent Hill Homecoming released at the end of the month, I have suddenly become a much happier person.

This years cosplay: Sasha from Gaiaonline, Cynthia from Silent Hill 4, Merle from Escaflowne, and Kaolla Suu in a Towel from Love Hina... again, this year I took no pictures of myself. Lame.

And so many accomplishments this con! I won best filk (I was the only filk and I'm surprised as Hell that I wasn't disqualified for content). I got the higheset score for the written part of anime jeopardy, and owned the first round, but failed majorly in the second (whatever. most of the questions were about mechs and dub voice actors and I don't really care about that crap) And I won the dating game. awesome.

totally failed at cosplay and the mascot contest but I'll try harder next year.

but yeah, today I'll have to dive right into making a dress for my father's wedding this Saturday. I don't really want to, but I also don't want to be seen wearing the mariposa crap that my family will put me in.

I just got back from the Phantom and it was so amazing! Now I'm going all moemoedokidoki fangirl so forgive me but it was so damned cooooool! XD

and now that I'm a little more collected, I have to say that while the singers were better than the ones in the movie they still can't compare to the original cast recording, so nyeh.

I am currently sitting in the camp office by myself. I am the only one with access to the office key and right now it feels reeeeaally nice to put my feet up on Mr. Ernst's desk. (if you know who Mr.Ernst is, you would understand.) I'm really surprised they let me in here alone actually...

but I am quite dissapointed to find that I have no new messages or e-mail... when they let me in here mainly to use the interwebs in order to check for messages and e-mails and such.

on a much more delightful note: My parents finally decided to pay for me to go to PNCA, so now I won't be forced to go to Clark. XP
